The Wedding Dress

Fingers crossed you’ve already bought your dream wedding dress – or you at least have a few appointments booked in! Wedding planners recommend sorting your gown out at 7 – 10 months ahead of the big day. This allows time for a couple of fittings and any amendments to be made. Plus, your wedding dress is a pretty big deal so you want to be able to tick it off your checklist and get on with the rest of the planning process. Top tip: Bring your bridesmaids or Maid of Honour along to the final dress fitting so that they can learn how to tie up your dress – it’s a surprisingly tricky task and not something you want to have to panic about on the morning of your wedding day! Once you’ve picked out your beautiful wedding gown, it’s time to think about your accessories. It’s important that you pick your dress before your accessories, as you want them to fit in with the look of your gown perfectly.
