I love the thought of incorporating this delightful colour scheme into your bridal outfit. Why not consider a subtly coloured blush pink gown, or a faint grey dress adorned with sequins? If you’ve always dreamt of a traditional white wedding gown, you could simply add a grey sash and some pretty blush heels. There are tons of options when it comes to dressing your bridesmaids. You could opt for slate grey gowns and small pink bouquets. Alternatively, your girls will love pretty blush gowns and sparkling silver shoes. Or you could simply mix and match the colour of their gowns according to the individual style of each maid.

Keep your reception tables looking ultra chic with dove grey or blush table runners and a few silver candle holders. As mentioned earlier, pink floral centrepieces will complement this wonderfully. Silver cutlery and plates with pink napkins on the side will make your place settings look beautiful.

You can really get creative with your wedding cake! Metallic cakes are seriously hot for 2016, so why not consider a silver iced cake with adorned with blush pink flowers. If a silver cake isn’t your style, a simple white iced cake will look fab with a pink or grey calligraphy topper.

I absolutely love the thought of pink and grey balloons! Not only are they a fab way of decorating your wedding venue, they work as wonderful props for your wedding photographs. Alternatively, pink and grey ribbon garlands will look wonderful hanging from the walls and ceiling of your venue. If you’re a budget savvy bride, it can be an easy DIY job for you and your groom!

" To me, botanical weddings are usually the most elegant of affairs. I love the thought of using natural, organic elements to create a truly gorgeous wedding theme. It’s the perfect influence if you want to create a whimsical wedding day that is wonderfully romantic with lots of greenery.       "

This theme works perfectly with a blank canvas wedding venue or a venue with a natural, garden feel. We’re talking an abandoned warehouse with exposed metals and crumbling brickwork. If you’re tying the knot ethereal space with overgrown foliage and blooms – even better!

One of the best things about a botanical inspired wedding is the fact that you can add a number of different colours into the equation. Peach tones add a pop of colour while still keeping the theme soft and romantic. Gold accents throughout your day will add a touch of luxury and keeps it modern. However, white is a great colour to use as the base for your theme, as it's fresh and complements greenery beautifully.

A botanical bride wants an aisle style that is soft and delicate. Wedding dresses with simple silhouettes are seriously romantic, and look fab paired with a fern leaf flower crown. Opt for a relaxed wedding hairstyle to complete the look, such as tousled waves or a loose up-do. And to complete your hairstyle? The Angelica beaded fern birdcage veil will finish your bridal style off perfectly. The vintage fern motifs are also made for a botanical inspired wedding! If you weren’t planning on wearing a veil, the Fern lace hair vine will look equally gorgeous. The bridal look definitely fits into the boho bride category, and is perfect for a bride who doesn’t want too much fuss.

For your wedding stationery, crisp white stationery with watercolour green shades is a beautiful choice. Hand-illustrated stationery sets look natural and will fit in with your botanical theme happily. For your place names or menus, place on a white ceramic plate and add a sprig of greenery for a truly botanical look. If you did want a little luxe for your wedding day, why not consider using golden plates and cutlery? I love the idea of using metallic frames as place names or even table centerpieces.

Speaking of table centerpieces, simple cacti and succulents are made for botanical weddings. A wooden tree slice adorned with succulents and foliage add a rustic tone to your day, which will work brilliantly if you’re planning an outdoor affair. While we’re on the subject of blooms, lets talk about your wedding bouquet. Pale green plants teamed with ferns and succulents will look wonderful. For your wedding cake, all you need is simple white icing and a few sprigs of foliage to decorate. If you’ve gone down the route of gold accents, consider adding pieces of delicate gilded leaves. For a splash of peach or pink shades, why not decorate with a single pink Peony?

If you really want to go down the garden-inspired route, you could even source vintage garden furniture for your tables and ceremony seats. It’s a style that most wedding guests won’t have seen, and they’re guaranteed to be impressed. Want to keep your wedding décor simple? Botanical installations and wreaths are a beautiful addition to your wedding venue and they’ll give a subtle nod to your wedding theme. You could create your own botanical ceremony arch or backdrop – think of the amazing wedding photographs!

We can definitely see why the wedding world has taken a step back from the traditional themes and is now embracing all things natural. We simply adore a wedding that transports you to a botanical paradise.
